Self Care Toolboxes

The Healing Hearts toolkits have been a wonderful resource to use working with students. Since the pandemic began, I have noted a marked increase in anxiety and depression. I am working with a couple of students who are experiencing significant stress in their home environment. Thank you so very much for advocating for and providing these kits, they have provided warmth, laughter, and smiles for very deserving children.

I have several students who have been hospitalized this year for self harm etc. and we are trying to support them with positive coping skills. Thank you so much for all that you do. We really appreciate you.

We have had amazing results using the boxes. We use the boxes to help children who have experienced trauma to express themselves using alternative healthy methods. This program is fantastic and much needed in our community. The only way to improve would be to make the program available to more students.

I am impressed by the whole box, from how the box itself is organized to all of the items in it. However, I really appreciate the booklet inside that describes the box, how it can be used, other coping skills that can be used, and a spot for a self-care plan. As a school social worker and a licensed clinical social worker, this is a big part of what we are helping students to learn. It's so awesome to have this resource to share with the kids!

I shared the news of your kindness and passed one of the Toolboxes around at our staff meeting this morning, and it was clearly a boost to everyone’s morale. I also circulated your business cards and promotional sheet in hopes that our staff may reach out to you if their clients might benefit from the products and services that you offer.
